Cathy Hilschire founded Cats Kingdom out of a deeply personal journey shaped by love, loss, and transformation. Like many devoted pet parents, she once trusted that commercial cat food offered the best nutrition. That belief changed in 2015 when her beloved cat Pierre was diagnosed with kidney disease. Determined to do more, Cathy immersed herself in species-appropriate nutrition and holistic feline care. Her research and commitment led to a remarkable improvement in Pierre’s health. Her journey deepened with Moo, a young cat facing both kidney disease and an autoimmune condition. Despite a grim prognosis, Cathy turned to raw feeding, natural supplements, and alternative therapies. Against the odds, Moo began to thrive. Inspired by these experiences, Cathy launched Cats Kingdom to empower fellow cat parents with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to raise healthier, happier cats through holistic wellness and informed nutrition.
